in THE JERSEY JOURNAL, JERSEY CITY, N. WEDNESDAY, JULY 20, 1966 15 DEATHS DEATHS Body of J.C. Boy, 9 Funeral arrangements were expected to be made today for a nine-year-old Jersey City boy whose body was recovered from the Hackensack River. The body of Larry Mc Knight, of 51 Dales Ave. was pulled from the river by police emergency crewmen yesterday.

It was found floating near the Roosevelt Marina, about five miles from where the yougster went under while swimming, Sunday. The boy disappeared while swimming with two companions under the Wittpenn Bridge, at the end of Newark Avenue. For two days police were unsuccessful in finding the body, apparently the result of a time lapse before the drowning was reported. The child's companions apparently panicked after their friend went under, and not until several hours later did police learn of the drowning. He sold the pageant rights to a Chicago firm when he retired. Mr. Nevins also created the Diaper Derby, a baby-crawling race to publicize the industry. He represented. business and theatrical personalities, circuses, country fairs and the newsreel industry.

HE PUBLICIZED the doughnut-baking business for 24 years and maintained he had convinced the late Emily Post that doughnut dunking was socially acceptable if the doughnut was first broken in half. At his subtle instigation, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower dunked doughnuts at a New York reception during the general's first presidential campaign.
