BALTIMORE RAVENS HEAD COACH JOHN HARBAUGH BEING GREETED LIKE A ROCK STAR BY FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES, READY TO HEAR WHAT HE THINKS IT TAKES TO BE A LEADER AND HIS FIRST PIECE OF ADVICE AT THE UNDER ARMOR PERFORM CENTER. THEY’LL REMEMBER IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. 150 FRESHMEN, SOPhom*oRES AND JUNIORS FROM SCHOOLS ACROSS THE STATE, EVEN A FEW FROM VIRGINIA, WERE SELECTED FOR THE NINTH ANNUAL LIFT CONFERENCE. IT STANDS FOR LEADING AND INSPIRING FEMALES TO THRIVE. WE KNOW THAT THESE GIRLS WILL NOT AT ALL END UP PLAYING PRO SPORTS, RIGHT? BUT THIS IS ABOUT HOW YOU UTILIZE WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED AS AN ATHLETE ALONG THE WAY TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE. THROUGHOUT THE DAY, GIRLS HEARD FROM MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS LIKE COACH HARBAUGH. THEY MET WITH FEMALE STAFF MEMBERS AND THEY WERE CHALLENGED TO THINK ABOUT THEIR LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS AND HOW THEY CAN IMPROVE.
