The former FC Barcelona trio has been massively influential in helping Inter Miami gain massive popularity, along with winning them their first-ever title, the Leagues Cup. Earlier in 2024, ex-FC Barcelona forward Luis Suarez also joined Inter Miami and has been off to a flying start.

David Beckham shared a picture of himself along with his wife Victoria, and Neymar Jr. at a restaurant in Miami. The picture has gone viral, amassing almost a million likes. However, what’s most interesting about the picture is the caption added by the Inter Miami co-owner. Beckham wrote, “Welcome to Miami my friend (only for dinner).”
While Beckham’s caption stipulates that Neymar’s visit was completely coincidental, the picture has started rumors of the Brazilian being the latest superstar in line to join Inter Miami in the future. There were rumors of Neymar moving to the MLS after he announced his exit from PSG. However, the 32-year-old decided to sign with Al-Hilal instead, in a $98.6 million move from the French club.
Neymar Jr. has hinted at wanting to play at Inter Miami in the past
While David Beckham’s picture has managed to tease fans into dreaming about Neymar Jr.’s reunion with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, the Brazilian star has expressed his desire to play in the MLS in the past. In an interview last year, Neymar revealed that he wants to play in the United States while also talking about the possibility of him returning to Brazil.
Neymar earlier this month, when asked about potentially playing with Lionel Messi again:
“Hopefully we can play together again. … I’d love to play in the U.S., actually. I’d love to play there at least for a season.”

He said, “I don’t know if I’ll play in Brazil again. I’d love to play in the U.S., actually. I’d love to play there at least for a season.” Moreover, Neymar also recently discussed a potential reunion with Messi during an interview withESPN Argentina. The former PSG star admitted that he would love to play with the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner again, having played with him previously at FC Barcelona and PSG.
Luis Suarez’s dream is to retire alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.
Meanwhile, Inter Miami forward Luis Suarez has also previously expressed his desire to play alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. again. Messi, Suarez, and Neymar played together for three years at FC Barcelona, where they scored a multitude of goals. The former FC Barcelona forwards formed the lethal ‘MSN’ trio that terrified every goalkeeper in Europe.
The ‘MSN’ trio played 450 matches together, where they scored 364 goals and provided 171 assists. The trio’s dream run ended in 2017 when Neymar left FC Barcelona for PSG. A few years later, Suarez also left FC Barcelona for Atletico Madrid in 2020, while Messi was forced out of the club a year later when he had to leave his boyhood club and join PSG.

The Uruguayan international said, “We hope to spend the last days of our career in the same club. Purely enjoy the joy of football and play football as we like and retire together.” While it’s likely that Suarez and Messi will retire at Inter Miami, all that is left is for Neymar Jr. to join the club and fulfill Suarez’s dream.
