Our founders, Ron and Judi McKenzie, and our licensed educators have many years of cosmetology training and industry-related experience as salon owners, manufacturer educators, product distributors and hair stylists. Ron has also traveled nationally and internationally as a platform artist working with many top industry professionals.

As an award-winning, family-owned and operated institution with a student focus, Z Hair Academy is known for our positive atmosphere and culture. Rather than one large hair school, we have four smaller hair schools that allow for intimate class sizes and more one-on-one attention.

Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation
The Siller Family started the Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. The Foundation continues Stephen’s legacy by supporting our nation’s first responders and service members.

Jason Foundation
JFI believes that awareness and education are the first steps to prevention. They want to establish a Triangle of Prevention by providing students, parents, and teachers the tools and resources to help identify and help at-risk youth.

Operation Underground Railroad
Since being founded in December 2013, they’ve gathered the world’s experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.’s Ops Team consists of former CIA, past and current law enforcement, and highly skilled operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts.
